Originally I wanted to build a Studio Scale TIE Fighter. Unfortunatly I was student and I didnt have the money to buy all the kits for the details nor the skill as I was a beginner at scratchbuilding. I went out with a resin kit of the TIE Fighter which is in scale with the MPC/AMT-Ertl Vader's TIE Fighter (something like 1/32). That was my first resin kit. Very crisp details, although there were billion of resin bubbles all along of the lines of the "Koolshade" and all over the model. It took me a while to remove them. I painted it the ANH style with some dark panel on the cockpit ball like featured on the ROTJ Interceptor.
